Constanța Casino: Architecture, Exhibitions and a Seafront Visit
Plan a visit to Constanța’s restored seafront landmark, combining its distinctive façade with the exhibitions available on your chosen date. The building reopened in 2025, but opening days, room access and temporary closures still need checking.

See the landmark from the promenade and inside
The Casino is a recognisable landmark on Constanța’s seafront, with large curved windows and elaborate exterior decoration. Begin outside to appreciate the façade and its relationship to the promenade. The recent photographs show the restored building, rather than the deteriorated appearance visible in many older travel images.
The operator records its reopening during the city celebrations of May 2025. Today the visitor offer includes exhibitions about the building, city and wider history. Review the current exhibition programme before travelling: a museum visit, an event and an exterior photograph are different experiences with different access requirements.

Check opening notices as well as the timetable
On 4 October 2026 the operator listed Wednesday to Monday, 10:00–18:00, with Tuesday closed. It also announced closure on 7, 8 and 9 October and temporary closure of the Hall of Mirrors. These are dated checks, so consult the official visit page and booking calendar for your own travel date.
The visit page contains more than one tariff list, so confirm the final ticket price and included areas in the official booking system before purchasing. Check concession eligibility, guided-tour arrangements and visitor rules. Do not use an old price or a photograph of a room as confirmation that it is included in your ticket.
Approach through the old town or along the seafront
Use the address Bulevardul Regina Elisabeta 4 when planning the final journey. A walk from the old town can make the building part of a broader Constanța outing. Allow enough time to reach the entrance before any booked slot, particularly when stopping for photographs along the way.
If arriving by car, choose legal parking and walk the last stretch rather than assuming spaces at the entrance. For local public transport, check current city routes and the pedestrian approach from your stop. Visitors arriving by train should plan the station-to-old-town leg separately from the attraction visit.
Build a half-day around the museum and waterfront
Start with your confirmed indoor visit, leaving time for the displays rather than fitting it between tightly spaced appointments. Then walk the nearby promenade and take a break for a meal. This is an editorial half-day suggestion; the actual time depends on the exhibitions, queues and the pace of your group.
Continue towards Ovidiu Square for the historic centre, or save that area for another outing. A beach-resort visit involves a different journey and schedule. In windy or wet weather, shorten the exposed waterfront walk and keep an indoor alternative, checking that it is open on the same day.
Choose a city base for architecture and history
Accommodation in or near the old town suits a visit centred on the Casino, the promenade and central heritage sites. Confirm walking distance, parking, lift access and check-in arrangements for the actual property. A beach-resort base can work too, but requires a planned transfer into Constanța.
For a city tour, ask whether Casino admission is included and which exhibitions or rooms can be visited. Confirm the guiding language and total walking distance. Rental-car choices matter more for a wider Dobrogea itinerary than for the final central walk; compare transport around your whole trip before booking.
